Luxury boutique self catering cottage for 2 near Truro and Falmouth in Cornwall – The Creamery

Terms and Conditions

1. Bookings

Should you wish to book, please refer to the availability page on this website. This gives an indication of the current booking position but is not a guarantee of availability. If The Creamery is shown as un-booked, please complete and submit the form to make a provisional reservation. We will then contact you to complete the booking procedure.

All bookings are subject to our terms and conditions which are shown below.

2. Deposit

A booking for a holiday becomes firm when a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the holiday price together with a completed booking form is received by us. Up to that time it is a provisional booking, and provisional bookings are held for a maximum of 7 days. Remittances must be made in pounds sterling. The deposit is returnable if the booking is not accepted.

3. Final Payment

The full balance of the total holiday cost is payable not later than 8 weeks before the holiday begins. Reminders or receipts will not be sent unless requested. If the full balance is not paid on time, we reserve the right to cancel the holiday booking, in which case the deposit will be forfeited.

The reservation of The Creamery amounts to making a contract. The visitor remains liable for the final payment on the due date as indicated in condition 3 above, and any failure to make such a payment in full at that time will be treated as a Breach of Contract. On receipt of a written cancellation less than 8 weeks before the holiday begins we will endeavour to re-book the property and, if successful, will refund monies paid less the deposit. With more than 8 weeks cancellation notice, the deposit only would be forfeited. You would therefore be advised to take out holiday cancellation insurance to cover you for any eventuality.

5. Right to Refuse

We reserve the right to refuse any booking and, in exceptional circumstances, to cancel, modify or alter arrangements made for you. If we should need to cancel the booking we will refund in full all monies paid to us by you. Responsibility and financial liability of Tregye Farm House shall be limited to the return of monies received in the event of accommodation booked in good faith not being available owing to circumstances beyond our control.

6. Arrival and Departure

Accommodation will be available to you from 4pm on the first day of booking. You will be contacted prior to arrival regarding key collection.

The Creamery must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure, this allows for cleaning etc to take place.

7. Parking

There is parking available either on our paved parking areas or in the lane.

8. Smoking

We regret that smoking is not permitted inside The Creamery but you are welcome to smoke in the garden.

9. Pets

We regret that no pets are permitted.

10. Visitor Obligations

a. The visitor undertakes to keep the premises and all the furniture, fixtures and effects in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the booking period and shall pay to us the value of any part of the premises, furniture, fixtures or fittings and effects so destroyed or damaged as to be incapable of being restored to its previous condition. Breakages and damages should be reported as soon as possible.

b. We endeavour to provide the accommodation to a high level of cleanliness for you and it must be left in the very clean and tidy condition as you found it. We reserve the right to make a charge for extra cleaning if the accommodation is not left in a satisfactory condition.

c. The visitor undertakes to permit us reasonable access to the property but we will endeavour to do so when convenient to the occupier.

d. The visitor agrees not to part with possession of the property, or share it, except with members of the party listed on the booking form.

11. Liability

Tregye Farm House are not to be held responsible for the loss of any valuables or property left on or around the premises at any time and are not liable for any damage, expense, accident, injury or inconvenience whether to person or property which the visitor or any other person may suffer or sustain whilst in or around the property arising out of or in respect of any letting. You must take all reasonable steps to ensure your own safety and that of others whilst on the property.

12. Governing Law

The contract embodied in the booking is governed by English Law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

13. Complaints

We try to take every care to prepare our property to a standard whereby our visitors will enjoy their holidays. If a problem or cause for complaint does arise, please let us know immediately. Every effort will then be made to assist you. It is frustrating for all parties if you write after your holiday to tell us about a problem that could have been solved had we known at the time.

14. Tenure

The Creamery is used as holiday accommodation and therefore exempt from security of tenure under the Rent Act.
